Happy Halloween!!!

Ok, I know its been forever since I've updated this. I've become addicted to Facebook, and I've neglected the blog! Anyway, we've been pretty busy the past few weeks, getting ready for our first Halloween. Adelaide loved the pumpkin patch, and we went to Boo at the Zoo with her friends Madeline Williams and Andrew Fleming last night. Adelaide had alot of fun on the train and the carousel, although it was pretty crowded!!

Adelaide is walking everywhere now, which means she's into EVERYTHING!!!! Her favorite thing these days is for you to chase her!! She loves it!!! She's doing well in Mother's Day Out, and I hear from her teacher that she even has a little "crush" - as she was seen holding hands with her loverboy on Friday! Daddy was not to happy to hear about this latest development! :-)

As you can tell from the pics, Adelaide is going to be a bumble bee for Halloween, although she simply REFUSES to wear the antenna headband, but its pretty obvious regardless. Now, if I can just teach her to say "trick or treat!"

Well, we made it through another week! We're looking forward to a quiet weekend and some football. (I'll be sure to send pics of Adelaide cheering on the Tide with her shaker!)

First Posting!

I am going to do my best to update you guys weekly with pics, video, etc... so you can all see how fast Adelaide is growing!

Adelaide is 11 months old this week and she is doing so well. She has started to say, "DaDa" , "Mama" and "Bye Bye" and babbles all of the time. I am certain she is having a very intellectual conversation with me! :-) She started "school" 2 weeks ago (Mother's Day Out) and she absolutely loves it! Her teacher says she plays hard everyday, and refuses to nap! She's already been sick twice, so I guess she's getting a healthy dose of germs to toughen her up!

Adelaide is enjoying a wide variety of foods now, but her favorite by far is macaroni and cheese! She eats it by the fistful! She still loves her carrots and sweet potatoes, but is now eating small pieces of fruit and cheese, and she also has started eating grilled cheese sandwiches - which she loves! There's something about that cheese. Of course, these days, she wears more of her food than she actually gets in her mouth!

Adelaide has also gotten quite good at walking around furniture and while holding on to Mommy and Daddy's hands, but her favorite by far is her new walking toy, which she just loves! What freedom!!! You'll have to check out the video I've posted.

We also just got back from the Sandestin, and Adelaide absolutely loved it! She was adorable in all of her matching hats and bathing suits (of course! :-) She wasn't so sure about the sand at first, but after awhile, she loved it, and would even crawl around in it! We had a great time even though it was a bit exhausting!!!
